hi i just bought a new hackva mask from reids in kelowna wore it for the first time this weekend at a tournament and what a awesome difference from my itech. It feels great on my head and the sight is awesome. The fit is like it was made on my head. Every one should own a hackva helmet!

First of all I would love to say it is finally nice to deal with an Canadian company again. After I purchased the mask and took the first shot right off the head. I was shocked that I didn’t have the ringing feeling or lose my balance. Pro model Mask for a wicked price. Also customer service is top notch, had issue with the sweat band not sticking and falling off. Send a email that night and 3 days later I had a replacement with no questioned asked. Just a quick word to say that I received my brand new texallium red mask yesterday. I just wanted to thank you guys for the great work!
I had had the chance to test it right away as I had a game last night and, aside from all the compliments on how great it looked (you just might get an order from a pretty jealous goalie soon!), the mask felt great, the sightlines were perfect and I felt way more protected than I use to in my 1400.

I had "ordered" a cateye cage from your website and got a prompt response on where about in my city I could find one. I must say the response time was more than impressive. When I went to pick up the cage for my mask (which at the time was not a hackva) I had heard that the hackva cage would fit on my current mask, I had picked up one of the hackva masks as the employee from tuxedo was taking my old cage off my old mask. I was so impressed with the mask itself that I asked him to stop and purchased one of your masks. I haven't had a chance to use the mask yet, but I must tell you I'm absolutly floored by the craftmanship. I can't wait to use this mask. After his first time wearing your mask he was asked by his performance coach to stick around and play some three on three with the 12 year olds....keep in mind he's only 8......three slap shots to the mask and dad's skin was crawling and mom was hiding under the bench.....he was just smiling and nodding his head saying he was okay....when we told him he took three to the head he said he only sawt one...that was the one that kept getting bigger and bigger until it hit him between the eyes...he just shook his head and smiled.....

I have been wearing my Hackva mask for 2 seasons now and I am still amazed at the quality and comfort of your mask. I have had the opportunity of trying 2 different brands of Top end masks and don’t feel as safe as when I’m wearing the Hackva. You would think that because these other brands are found in the NHL would make them better masks but that is false, Hackva is as good as if not better than any Kevlar reinforced masks found in the NHL.

I have recently changed employer and sponsor so I had to get my mask repainted to more fitting colors. As you can see the theme is a Pete Mask.

Here are the pictures, finally. We just got the jerseys and finally starting the season this weekend. A bit late this year. Anyway, I'm not the best picture taker, but he's the coolest in the mask! He get lots of compliments, but most importantly for me he says when the pucks hit his helmet he barely feels it and it doesn't ring. Great protection.

He plays for the Charlotte Junior Checkers in Charlotte, NC. The big Checkers are the AHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the NHL. My son Benjamin Burgamy is the Charlotte Jr. Checkers Squirt AA (9 and 10 year olds) goalie.

Do you know George Krul? He sells paints, but I can't remember his company's name and said he sells paints to your company. Small world. His son (Spencer) plays for our Pee Wee team (11-12 year olds). I showed him Benjamin's helmet and he says Spencer's next one is a Hackva.

If I get a nicer picture I'll get it to you.

First let me say i am so happy i bought your product. When i was shopping for equipment for my son, he is a first year pee wee, his helmet was te toughest part to buy. not because of cost, there is no cost to cover a head... It was my own ignorance after playing goalie for 15 years i have never changed my helmet it worked. Well the times they are a changing, i went to my local shop. total Hockey here is St Peters, MO. The Owner cam out with 10 masks and gave me the lowdown on each. The last he brought out the Hackva, Put it on my son and nick was like WOW, it was light comfortable and he was excited. I looked at it and he gave me the pitch. Never once mentioning price and i said, SOLD...Best purchase i have made. I will be buying another when he grows out of this one...Thanks for a Great product...

It is the beginning of my son Ryan's winter season and we finally gave him his new Hackva helmet. Although he was involved with ordering it and he knew that it was going to be navy in color, he was totally blown away (as were we) with the new type of paint that you are using. It seems to have an iridescent glow and the navy is a perfect shade. He dearly loves his "custom" green back plate with his name on it. You have outdone yourselves again. We were ecstatic with his first Hackva when you specially made him an all orange helmet (not a stock color) and chose to do it at no up charge. We again are blown away with what you have done for him with his latest helmet.

I finally got to play in my new Hackva this morning. While I was absolutely horrible, I thought that the mask was great. I even was lucky enough to take a shot off or the cat-eye cage. It wasn't a hard shot but a good test. I didn't feel a thing. Getting used to the cat-eye after playing with a cert cage for a long time might take a while. Other than that, I love it. I now feel that there is not a shooter in the league that can shoot hard enough where I might get hurt.

I finally have a couple of great pics of me in my Hackva. As you can see, it is the best piece of equipment that I own.

Received the goalie mask and tried it for the first time last night. As soon as my teammates realised it was new it turned into a hit the goalie in the head competition. I must say I`m impressed because i barely felt a thing when they hit me. These are pictures of my son, Nathan Buliga wearing his Hackva mask.  We are originally from Windsor Ontario but are now living in Braintree Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston.   I bought him his Hackva mask half way through the season last year, because prior to that he wore one of the mass produced masks with no success, the design of that mask and cage caused numerous ‘blind’ spots that would cause him to lose sight of the puck.  This season, as of this email, he has not had this problem at all and boasts a 0.88 GAA so far through 16 games which is awesome because we do not score many goals.  Being one of the few in this area wearing a Hackva mask, he really stands out as well.  It is a great mask and I highly recommend it for any goalie of any age.

I went to Maritime Sports in my hometown of Moncton, NB today to buy
a new goalie mask. It was a long overdue trip as my 7 year old mask
has really seen better days after getting me through Junior Hockey
and into Beer League.

1) im vain lol - i like  my mask to look good/look like an NHL
player would wear it (Dwayne Roloson doesn't count... he has no style lol)

2) Because I never felt comfortable in any  mask i had tried on... ever

3) Waaaay too many other brands seemed pretty cheaply made


I picked out a new Hackva and WOW...

1) Like I said i'm vain, and this mask is even better looking in
person then in the photos i had seen on the message boards

2) I swear it was made for my head, fit better then my old mask and
the sight lines were fantastic

3) For the kind of quality you guys put into these masks I would have
gladly paid triple the price... I felt so bad about paying so little
for this mask I picked up a second cage (Cat-Eye to go with the HECC
one already on the mask) and some white backplate straps just so i
could get the price over $400 lol

I'd been reading the reviews on the goalie forums for the last few
years and it was obvious everyone loves Hackva, Im just glad i wasn't
so stubborn and actually picked up a mask, held it in my hands and
tried it on...

I haven't even had to experience your legendary customer service yet,
and Im going to be a Hackva wearer for life.

I wanted to thank you again for all your help during my mask hunt. I ended up purchasing one of your 2608 Texalium masks and I absolutely love it! 

I've taken shots to my chin, my cage, and my forehead and felt nothing.

I must say that I'm a little baffled why other goalies say the mask is slightly on the heavy side. Feels light as a feather to me. Maybe it fits so much better than my last mask that I don't notice it. In fact I didn't have to make any pad adjustments. Took it out of the box, adjusted the straps and hit the ice. 

Now that I'm not nervous about a third concussion my confidence has grown big time and my GAA is down somewhere in the 2's (I don't keep exact records—I'm a care-free goalie).

I took this photograph to send to Jim Craig the USA goalie in the 1980
Olympics. I worked for ABC television who covered the event in Lake
Placid. When I told him I wore his jersey he asked for a photograph
of me in my jersey and Hackva Mask and sent an autographed jersey to
go in the photograph. He is rebuilding his website and is going to
use it there.

I absolutely love this mask. I have taken shots in the head from very
close range without any ringing or injury whatsoever. It is a rather
new mask to Maine and I get a lot of great comments about it's look
and design. Congratulations on a great product and I truly appreciate
the protect and peace of mind that it provides.

seriously i was very hesitant at first to purchase if cause it was a VERY heavy helmet, but becuase of the fact that i am a short goalie and basically when in  position my head is save level as the cross bar, as you can imagine i take alot of head shots... well of course as i started playing at a higher level the head shots got harder, and of course the play more agressive causing me to have more reason to cover the puck more agressively. so long story short... i have had this helmet for the month ( maybe a little over) and no more ringing ears... no more closing my  eyes cause i think its going to hurt... now one of my teams they call me savage cause they say when i take head shots they see me head butt them lol ( again just trying to make sure the puck is staying away from my NET and deflecting where i want to go not just standing there looking stunned!!)

so ya... i completely LOVE my helmet....and thats what you guys are here for...
the great customer service... honestly thats a SUPER great plus!!!!

We got the mask for Spencer around Christmas this year - after a couple of months of use, he really likes it.  I will say that it has been a great investment in his safety and protection.

I recieved the mask from Gary at Premier Hockey, and I absolutely love the mask!  I did forget to put texalium on my order confirmation, and you were correct in going by my (the customer's) confirmation.  But it worked out perfect, I like it so much better without the texalium.
