I wanted to buy a mask for my boyfriend for his birthday and I had heard really good things about Hackva so I decided to contact them.
Cindy replied to my email within minutes and continued to do so throughout all of our interactions. I wanted to make some custom changes
to the mask and Cindy and Gabe were completely willing to do this for me and gave me some really good suggestions! Needless to say,
I am blown away by the fantastic service that Cindy and Gabe provide. The mask came in and my boyfriend absolutely loves the fit, comfort,
look, and protection level. I was so pleased with my experience that I promptly ordered another Hackva to use as a back up!!!
All in all, I would recommend Hackva to anyone looking for great customer service and a great quality product!!

Last night I brought my son Ryan to Stauber’s Goalcrease to pick up his new “custom color” orange Hackva Helmet. I have to tell both of you that it was awesome at first sight. Ryan used it in practice last night and while he gave it rave reviews for the look and protection on the ice, his teammates and coaches gave him rave reviews off the ice which he also enjoyed.
Although he did not take any shots to the head (which is a first for his team), it appears that he has regained his confidence in his mask. As Nick is aware, Ryan had lost confidence in his Itech 2500 mask from head shots that would ring his ears. He began turning away from high shots. Last night he seemed to have renewed confidence, never flinching on high shots.
I want to thank both of you, and the entire Hackva family for going out of your way to make him this orange helmet even though you do not typically offer orange as a standard color. It is this kind of customer service coupled with a great product that will continue to put Hackva and Stauber’s at the top of the list of elite goaltenders.

I am very impressed with the quality of the mask , not just the paint ! I can't say enough of Thank-you's Cindy, for all your help in arranging for us to order the mask to begin with. Your customer service was unequalled in today's market place. Cole will be in TO in July and can't wait to see the factory. I will no doubt be fielding numerous questions at the rink . I bought a Hackva mask a few weeks ago after being in desperate need of replacing my rusty and rattling old Koho one. I had dismissed iTech before looking for a replacement and a friend of mine bought a Hackva mask last year so I knew the quality I was going to get. I went for the Martin Brodeur replica and I used it for the first time last Saturday. All I can say is that the difference in quality is unbelievable.
The mask looks stunning and got alot of attention, its very well padded and fits perfect around my head, the built in sweat band done its job and my eyes were sweat-sting free for the whole 2 hours (then just removed and washed!) and the use of a cats eye cage rather than a grid gives an unbelievable difference in vision. To be honest the Hackva mask feels so much so safer. It was well worth the extra delivery and customs and would recommend a Hackva mask to anyone looking for a new one.
Just to sum up, thanks alot for a great mask and you have a customer (and sales rep!) for life.

Thanks for the wonderful artwork on the mask. It's been a tough week for
all the family and friends of Maddy as July 17 was the one year
anniversary of her passing. Her mom (my sister) had the mask for the whole
week which allowed everyone that was dropping by to get a look at it.
Everyone loved it. When I first showed it to them, I could see her father
starting to tear up. My fiancee said that she was tearing up as well when
the two of us picked it up at the office.
I've attached a bunch of photos in the zip file. Feel free to use them on
your website. Once I figure out how, I will post them on GSBB as well.

Now I just have to figure out if I will ever wear it, or if it will be a
permanent display piece. I'm leaning towards display, but I have a couple
months to decide before my season starts.
One thing I forgot to mention to Cindy when she brought up the auction of
the 30 NHL masks that you did last year, was that every year we're doing a
charity event in honor of Maddy. In February we raised $10,000 with a Gala
/ Auction Night for Roger's House (http://www.rogershouse.ca). Once we get
closer to this year's event, I might get the organizers in touch with you
to figure out if there is something that we might be able to work out
(don't worry, it won't be on the scale of $30 masks :-O). Last year a Mike
Fisher game used / signed stick went for $400 so maybe a mask signed by
the Sens would be something that could be organized. We do a fair amount
of things through the Sens Foundation so autographs, etc should be able to
be arranged. If nothing else, we can get some buttons made up for the
event. :-)

dealing with Hackva and I am really proud of the mask that you produced.

I met you at the Can Goal camp at Nottawasaga a few weeks ago and you gave Bibs a helmet for me to try out and I ended up buying one within the week. I just wanted to let you know that I love the helmet and it fits perfectly. I'm also excited for the new Halo helmet to come out and I may have to purchase one when it is finished. Indeed it did arrive last night. Its funny, we live in a small town (population 4,500), so some of the delivery guys know that my wife works at the dental office in town and when they see our last name on a package have started delivering everything there as we live a ways out of town!! So sure enough they dropped it off at the dentist’s office!
I just wanted to say thank you to you both. You guys are running a first rate business there and I am so happy with the mask. Gabe you’ve got talent to spare! I am blown away by what you managed to pull off – its excellent. It was an absolute pleasure exchanging e-mails with you as we were working through the design. I am honest when I say I am going to miss dealing with you. It was first rate and I found myself looking forward to getting updates and what your latest concept was.
